To The Mil was engaged to carry out the carpentry works, remaining on the project through to completion. The build involved crafting a range of custom elements, including copper shelving units and extensive use of recycled hardwood throughout the interior.

A defining feature of the project is the on-site fabrication of a six-metre curved kitchen benchtop, laminated from recycled hardwood. This element reflects the level of craftsmanship and precision applied across the build.

Despite its compact size, the apartment is carefully detailed, with material consistency and bespoke carpentry shaping the overall character of the space. The result is a small but highly resolved interior — described as a timber “jewellery box”, defined by craftsmanship, material reuse and attention to detail.
