Located in Woollahra, one of Sydney’s most exclusive suburbs, this majestic early Victorian 1868 home was a cluster of small defined spaces. Our job was to re-invent the internal floor plan to create a new free flowing open and modern living space, whilst still maintaining the classic Victorian grandeur of the old dame's exterior.  The result is a magnificent, voluminous sense of space for relaxed and easy modern living.

This stunning renovation creates the illusion of old-world charm and character on the outside, that is perfectly juxtaposed with a modern, free-flowing, versatile and spacious interior.  A particular highlight is the large expansive kitchen, which looks out over the gardens and pool, and includes a hidden Butler's pantry making this an entertainer's ideal dream renovation.  All five bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and walk in robes were completely rebuilt to update the interiors of this grand old dame.  The master suite is a particularly outstanding example of her updated opulence.

Luxurious, high-end finishes throughout elevate this renovation, creating an elegant and pleasingly functional home for the owners to enjoy.  It was a pleasure to be involved in restoring and updating this fabulous dress circle home.
